Maybe it’ll change?
Well, I woke up at about 7pm tonight. I’m really hoping this is very temporary because it is really messing my life up. The only thing I can think of is staying up close to 24 hours but I want to sleep so badly. I always think staying up seems like a good idea until it gets to the point of me being tired (about 12-13 hours after I get up) and then I’ll do anything to just sleep for a bit. I’m definitely not and never have been a morning person…although I’m not sure what that has to do with this?

Earlier, pleaseeee…
I really hope I can sleep earlier tonight. Last night I ended-up falling asleep at around 10am again! I just couldn’t sleep. I felt hot, then my muscles were hurting, my eyes also…always something preventing me from sleep. I really think the problem is sub-conscious or at least partly sub-conscious. When I’m on vacation in the same time zone or at least a similar one, I can usually fall asleep pretty easily (without much effort). I don’t know if that’s because I’m more active on vacation or maybe just more relaxed. Only time will tell…

Always late!
Another 6pm wake-up!! I set my alarm for much earlier and apparently my sub-conscious thought it necessary for me to get more sleep (ps, thanks a lot you ****!). Ahhh!! I’m so frustrated with this! Well I have things to do, people to see…

Short and sweet
Well, I’m going to make this post short and sweet so I can go to bed. I’m really tired but it’s about 6am. Hopefully I’ll go to sleep within the hour and not some crazy hour like 10am. If that happens again, I’m just going to try and tough it out and stay awake for the day. I have some things I need to get done during normal society hours this week so I can’t afford to sleep in until 5 or 6pm every day. I’d be happy with even a 1pm wake-up one day to start things off. I’ll let you know how things go! Wish me luck

Bootcamp
So I came to the conclusion that I wouldn’t survive a military bootcamp. I woke up at 6pm again today. I don’t even know how I can sleep during the day. Maybe I’m related to owls. On another note, I do have something wrong with my eyes lately. I think it’s some kind of allergies (I did mention this before). Anyhow my eyes have been pure bloodshot the last couple of days and they have been killing me!

7am is better than 10am!
Well I’m not heading to bed and it’s almost 7am. I was a bit tired a couple of hours ago but didn’t finish doing everything I wanted to, so I guess I can put part of the blame on me. I wish someone could invent a pill that would allow you to get your “rest” without going into sleep mode. It’d be great, I’d get so many more things done and I wouldn’t have to worry about trying to sleep or about trying to get up in the morning (or evening).
The weather’s been pretty crappy lately. I’m sure that helps with my sleep as I don’t feel as guilty that I’m missing the day. Something you might be interested in knowing about me is that I love the sun! Yes, I’m not a computer nerd that likes to be inside 24 hours a day. I’d choose a sunny beach vacation over any other vacation any time! I’d be happy if I lived on a beach with some nice food, drinks and some company to share it with. That’s all I need to be happy ;-).

10am is the new bedtime!
So, after I wrote last night’s post I didn’t get to sleep for a long time. I finally got to sleep around 10-10:30am! It was funny actually because I was lying in bed thinking that if I’m awake for 10 more minutes, I’m just going to go downstairs and make myself breakfast. How ironic was it that that’s when I would fall asleep? Well I did manage to sleep pretty well though somehow…all the way until about 6pm this evening. That’s not bad for the amount of sleep considering I felt rested.

So much sleep, where’s the reward?
Well, after I got back from my appointment this morning I decided to go back to sleep. I had a lot of other things that I could’ve and maybe should’ve done but I just didn’t have the energy. I really needed to sleep. I woke-up around 6pm (as usual it seems now) and am now going to sleep around 7am. Something’s going to change in the next few days, I can tell. Maybe tomorrow I’ll have a nap earlier in the evening and stay-up into the next day to tire myself out. I’m sure I can figure out another way to mess-up my sleep…after-all, it can’t get much worse than it is now, can it?! Night!

Does the earlybird get the worm?
Well, I’m up at 10:30am and it feels horrible (in a good way maybe?). I have an appointment this morning at 11am so I had to get up. The worst part about it was as soon as my alarm started going off, in my head I was thinking of excuses so I could call them, cancel, and then go back to sleep. I finally convinced myself to get up. I fell asleep around 8:30am so it was a total of about 2 hours of sleep…no wonder I feel so crappy.

Is 4:30am early or late?
Well I’m about to head to sleep. It’s about 4:30am. This is an “earlier” sleep time than usual but is still pretty bad. I need a special airline pass that allows me to fly to different timezones when my sleep gets messed-up. In all honesty, I really would go somewhere across the world right now for a few weeks if I could afford it. I know it would at least fix my sleep for a while and would be such a stress-relief. You have no idea (well maybe you do ;-)) of how much stress this whole thing causes me.
